alright i'm back from desaru. without a doubt, this was the most ridiculous family getaway ever. and i have had my share of sudden eh-i-feel-like-seeing-the-opera-house incidents and about 30 hours later i'm in the plane. there was a debate over everything. whether to go to tioman or fraser's hill or desaru. when to go. by car or by ferry. which hotel to stay in.

finally, on wednesday afternoon, we checked into the seaview executive suite at the pulai because we wanted to see sunrise and were a bit lazy to have to go all the way to the beach to wait.

day one, we realised there was HBO on the tv and gone were my plans to canoe and snorkel. we just drove out to the nearest town (BLOODY 40 MINUTES AWAY!)for dinner.

day two, i woke up late and missed sunrise. breakfast at the hotel sucks. waves were too big to canoe. apparently you will drown and die. family found a hammock and amused ourselves with it for awhile. went back and watched more HBO. dad decided we did not argue for 3 days just to come and watch HBO. we went for a little drive around the place. stopped at batu layar(just some place with a lot of big rocks). started climbing all those huge rocks and pissing the hell out of a wedding couple there to take photos. scraped myself. then went to the ostrich farm. did you know an ostrich's brain is even smaller than it's eye? watched some ostriches do some weird dance(no they weren't taught.), watched an ostrich lay egg, and fed them. then went for seafood dinner. the lobster salad is GOOD.

day three, crawled out of bed enough to see the sunrise before going back to bed. had shitty breakfast. hit the beach again. waves still too big. will not die but will drown. but dad, mummy and i wanted to make a point that we were actually at desaru, so we went to soak in the sea. the waves really are big. just floated around the sea being washed around by the huge waves. wanted to swim out to an offshore rock but got stopped by mum. bathed and checked out. dropped dad off cos he has to go back to KL, and my panicky mum got us safe and sound back in singapore. she freaked after she couldn't see a singapura signboard. "am i lost? AM I LOST? AM I LOST?!?!?!?!?! oh no i'm not look that sign says singapura turn left."

there. and i have officially become the blogger that i've always detested. like hello world!! there few days i did this this this. ew. i know nobody's going to read this part probably cos they got so bored they've left the page but whatever. 2 weeks to exam. i'm dead.
